This year is the eighth edition of the Festival, with more than twenty light installations in the capital’s European and Royal Quarters and takes place each evening until Sunday 16 February. The Art Deco movement is one of the themes of the Festival, as 2025 is also the 100th year celebration of Art Deco in Brussels.

The installation was switched on by Rudi Vervoort, Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region, who pointed out that “Bright is a festival that constantly innovates and renews itself”. He was joined by Elke Van den Brandt, Brussels Minister for Mobility, Public Works, and Road Safety, who stated “we are proud that Brussels celebrates art and heritage not only in museums but also in the public space. The light installations put architecture in motion.”

The Resonantia Lux projection was created by Polish-Hungarian artistic duo Elektro Moon Vision studio and uses historical and modern visual art with AI influences, to intertwine the past and present. It has been organised by the Polish Institute Brussels to mark the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in collaboration with the House of European History.

For the projection at the House of European History, the following artists were involved:

  • Elwira Wojtunik - concept, art direction
  • Popesz Csaba Láng - animations, AI, FX, project integration, post-production
  • Krzysztof Guzik - 3D modelling, FX, animations
  • Jędrzej Rusin - sound composition
