HEH permanent exhibition

Permanent exhibition

At the heart of the House of European History, the permanent exhibition galleries use objects, reconstructions and multimedia resources to take visitors on a thought-provoking narrative that focuses on the continent’s 19th and 20th centuries. It begins with the myth of Europa, delving into Europe’s ancient roots and the continent’s heritage of shared traditions, before continuing through Europe’s dramatic journey towards modernity in the 19th century and rebuilding process following World War II.
