Eighty-five year old Regina Sluszny is a Holocaust survivor. On Saturday 25 January, two days before the date that marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, she will be at the House of European History in Brussels to share her story.

As part of the temporary exhibition, “Bellum et Artes – Europe and the Thirty Years’ War”, the House of European History proudly presents three extraordinary and very different European films that represent and (re)imagine the Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648).

Three authors who have won the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) will take over the House of European history’s narrative and deliver guided tours, in English, French and Polish during lunchtime on Thursday, 21 November.
