This year the House of European History is doing something different: the museum is dreaming forward, visualising and manifesting bold and creative visions of Europe’s future, in addition to showcasing Europe’s present and recent past.

Come and enjoy an evening of special tours, creative workshops and energetic performances from the perspective of different artists.

The House of European History is wheelchair accessible, with baby changing facilities onsite and free lockers for your belongings. 

Be aware that there are security checks at the entrance of the museum.

Drag show performances
"In Vitro" broadens the collective consciousness's perspective on minorities considered atypical, by deconstructing the invisible walls that cage them. 15 minute performances at several points of the museum at 20:15, 21:00, 22:00, 23:15.

Multilingual improv theatre
"Babel Games" is an improv theatre experience where gestures, emotions, and shared energy speak as loudly as the languages. Transcend language barriers and create human connections - shows are 30 minutes long at 20:30, and 22:15.
Dance performance & workshop
Join The Revolutionary, a collective of hip-hop dancers as they unite their universes through dance to create a shared European commonality moving towards the future. Two performances followed by a dance workshop, at 21:15 and 22:45.

Santé! Here’s to manifesting the future of our dreams! Throughout the evening head to the Chemistry and Botanics bar and toast to your future before dancing the night away with DJ Jean Biche from 23:30 ‘til late.

Fortune Teller
Are we in control of our destiny or is it written in the cards? Meet a fortune teller who will offer card readings throughout the evening in her ‘Tente des Echoes’. 45 minute slots at 19:45, 21:15, 23:30 in EN, FR.

Creative workshops
How can we connect with ourselves in the future? A museum’s photo archive activity will also run to look at photography involving poetry and art. Sessions take 30 minutes each at 19:30, 21:00, 23:15 in EN, FR.

Standing guides
Pepper the robot, participants of Echoes collective and Fañch Le Bos from La Cambre Art School, will provide explanations about objects from the museum’s collection to reflect on the future. For 90 minutes from 19:00 in EN, FR.
