Installation
Tracking my Europe is a collaborative digital mapping experiment. It was part of the first temporary exhibition at the House of European History - Interactions - which took place from 2017 - 2018.
Visitors entered the important locations in their life, such as where they were born, where they work, even where their favorite sports team were based. This resulted in a unique interconnected web, which visitors could update in real time. Groups from as far as the US, Mexico, even New Zealand added their information. The platform could also be accessed digitally, for people who could not physically make the trip to the exhibition.
The initial results showed a generational change - so how different generations have moved in the same directions across Europe.
