On Human Rights Day 2025, the House of European History invites you to a unique event with Bosnian transdisciplinary artist Smirna Kulenović.

Following the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe, the House of European History invites you to the museum for an event with award-winning Dutch photographer Roger Cremers.

Eighty-five year old Regina Sluszny is a Holocaust survivor. On Saturday 25 January, two days before the date that marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, she will be at the House of European History in Brussels to share her story.

War is terrible. It leads to loss of life and property and, often, to the destruction of culture and to the looting of art. The issue of looted art in history is the subject of a panel discussion at the museum.

This year, shortly after the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution in Portugal, the House of European History welcomes you to the museum to learn more about this historic event with social historian Raquel Varela.

To say goodbye in style to the temporary exhibition “Throwaway – The history of a modern crisis”, the House of European History has invited Live Magazine to take over the museum!
